Quality assurance testing and test
case development for a variety of mobile/wireless and client/server
products.
Problem isolation and reporting
to QP test engineering standards
Daily and weekly compilation of
various written and verbal reports on the results of testing
Implementation/adherence to QP test
process/procedures
Meeting Participation Responsibilities:
Participates in weekly project review
meetings with QP Senior Leads, Directors.
Prerequisite: Minimum 2 years
experience in software/hardware quality assurance testing in Multimedia
industry
Technical proficiency and experience
on the following technologies:
Video Editing/Mastering
Compression types (CODEC)
Video formats (AVI, QT, etc.)
Frame rates, dropped frames, PAL, NTSC
Digital Camcorders (MiniDV)
Multimedia graphic cards
A/D converters and Video Capture cards (Adaptec, Pinnacle, etc.)
MIDI and SMPTE knowledge a plus
Excellent Oral and Written Communication

Must successfully complete QP Certified
Consultant Training course. (Courses currently held at QP Main
Headquarters in Pleasanton, CA)
