Quality assurance testing and test
case development for a variety of mobile/wireless and client/server
products.
Problem isolation and reporting
to QP test engineering standards
Daily and weekly compilation of
various written and verbal reports on the results of testing
Implementation/adherence to QP test
process/procedures
Meeting Participation Responsibilities:
Participates in weekly project review
meetings with QP Senior Leads, Directors.
Prerequisite: Minimum 2 years
experience in software/hardware quality assurance testing in related
industry

Technical proficiency and experience
performing quality assurance testing on products of any of the
following technologies: Client/Server, Configuration and setup
of Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux based Servers; Network Protocols
(TCP/IP, SMP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, XML, etc.); Virtual Private Networks
"VPN" (L2TP, PPTP, or IPsec based); Handheld/Smartphone Operating
Systems (Palm OS, Windows CE/Pocket PC, J2ME, BREW, Symbian);
Wireless Protocols (Bluetooth, 802.11, WAP, SMS/MMS, etc.)
Proficient in computer applications
including databases and spreadsheets and word processing.
Must successfully complete QP Certified
Consultant Training course. (Courses currently held at QP corporate
offices in Pleasanton, CA, and Beverly, MA.)
