Quality Partners, very well known for its on location “where the network is” test service has expanded its service to global markets. The company’s field test service division has been successfully delivering CDMA and GSM on location field test services since 2002.
It has taken QP years to fully develop a division that is equipped to understand the technical requirements of this service at the QP level of quality. QP provides well trained individuals who understand the technology, the tools, the drive routes, and the ability to isolate problems of handset vs. network. QP also includes a field test support organization to prepare all the logistics for test readiness at a moment’s notice, including the use of the right tools to make test results available quickly while on the road. We are proud of the infrastructure we have built within QP to deliver this service.
The company’s comprehensive Field Test Training Program ensures that all QP certified field test employees deliver consistent and high quality testing. To support the services delivered, QP training includes call processing, feature testing, 1X/EVDO, EDGE/WCDMA, MoD and VoD content download performance, PTT, LBS and MIP/DMU test techniques. The training also includes Layer 3 problem isolation and techniques for maximizing the use of data logging tools.
The company’s AWS (Automated Workflow System) plays a key role in providing real time test results while the field test team is on location.
The company’s field test service has grown 133% from 2004 to 2005 with the majority of customers being repeat. Field test services are available throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The field test division and its technical and administrative team are now fully prepared to expand to global markets and have projects slated to provide services within the U.K., Australia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, and New Zealand in 2006.
