QP Platform, System and Network Compatibility Lab and Test
Service
QP's compatibility test service is designed to offer our customers
a comprehensive test service. In a continuing effort to offer highly
competitive cost of service, QP's test lab environment offers a
range of previously released and newly introduced platforms, systems
and networks most widely sold and used by the market. We subsidize
our lab with rentals for those specific configurations needed for
varying projects that are not available in the QP test lab.
QP's service includes test plan design, test requirements design,
configuration test matrix design and project management. Our test
design focuses on key components and configurations most likely
to be problematic based on the technology of the component under
test. For example, certain applications have consistent problems
with a number of drivers. Our team of compatibility test engineering
specialists will target the test design to ensure coverage of those
components most likely to cause incompatibility or functional problems.
And our expansive database of previously failed problems by technology
based on platform/system/network allows us to quickly target potential
problems on new projects. This in turn allows us to offer better
compatibility test coverage while getting test results to our customers
more quickly.
QP's service offers custom lab configurations for each project.
Systems are dedicated per project and are not shared across active
projects. QP also ensures that system platforms are configured appropriately
to guarantee a valid test bed environment.
The links below provide provide a list of Operating Systems from
the QP Software Library, System Types used for testing, USB Devices,
Wireless LAN Devices (802.11), Handhelds, Wireless Communications
Accounts and Phones, Bluetooth Devices, and a list of Multimedia
Devices available in our QP lab.
Note that the System types list includes each system type. Multiple
workstations of each type make up QP’s entire lab. Also note
that most of the systems listed are USB compatible.
Additional systems, or devices or carrier networks are available
