The Quality
Partners test labs include a wide range of operating system versions
including Windows©, Sun Solaris©, Linux© and Macintosh©
platforms. Our software library includes all versions of these platforms,
including international versions. The QP test service includes test
design and test execution for compatibility of your product across
the platforms supported by your product. Our testing is well thought
out and focuses on testing those application features dependent
on the operating system platform. QP always works to maximize test
coverage while minimizing test time. Our experience with platform
testing allows us to provide testing that has the most impact on
your project while avoiding throwaway testing. The QP service
also includes custom setup and configuration for special LAN and
WAN configurations necessary to accommodate the testing required
for each specific project.
The Quality
Partners test labs include a wide range of systems to accommodate
those projects that require compatibility testing across systems
supported by the product under test. Quality Partners has an extensive
inventory of PC client/server configurations, including laptop configurations,
Sun© and Linux© client/server system configurations, and
Macintosh© systems. Our lab also includes a variety of peripherals
such as cameras, printers, etc. The QP test service provides system
compatibility testing for application products and application and
accessory products, such as modem cards.
Quality Partners offers application compatibility testing, to ensure that the application under test functions as expected with a variety of system configurations, drivers and other applications installed on the system. Our testing includes, but is not limited to, application interoperability testing, application DLL compatibility testing, application driver compatibility testing and more.
QP has developed
an 802.11a & b Wireless Compatibility lab for use in compatibility
testing for products under test supporting the 802.11b protocol.
QP is providing testing for the 802.11g protocol as well. The QP lab is
kept updated and as new products become available, QP invests in
those products for inclusion to our lab. The lab consists of Wi-Fi
(Wireless Fidelity™) certified and non-Wi-Fi wireless access
point products, including supported PC cards, such as Cisco Aironet™
350, Lucent Agere™, Orinoco AP-1000™, Intel PRO™/Wireless
2011, Linksys WAP11™, D-Link DWL™ 1000-AP, SBA 2.4 GIG™,
Wireless Networking Kit, 3Com Airconnect™ and Apple Airport™
Base Station. The QP test service includes testing to ensure connectivity
and compatibility of your wireless supported products with various
wireless access points and PC cards, including signal strength testing,
security, channel selection and more. QP will conduct
testing of your product in a variety of wireless connection configurations
