QP's experience
includes test case design, development and implementation for testing
applications supporting the BlackBerry™ 850 & 857 and the
BlackBerry 950 & 957. QP testing validates that the applications
function correctly and conform to a consistent look and feel. QP
also performs compliance testing for messaging (wireless e-mail),
local and web based applications. Tests include functionality, messaging,
stress and error handling, device compatibility and user interface. QP is proud
to be the test company involved in the design, development and implementation
of BLACKBERRY's compatibility testing for RIM©'S ISV Alliance
Members. The purpose of BlackBerry compatibility testing is to verify
that applications designed for BlackBerry properly support and implement
BlackBerry APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and do not
interfere with the integrity of the BlackBerry solution.
The QP team is providing test case design and implementation for testing of 3rd party BREW™ applications on a variety of Wireless Handsets. This testing is conducted to verify that 3rd party applications developed for Qualcomm©'s BREW (Binary Runtime Executable for Wireless environment) function as expected in a real world environment. Testing also confirms that the applications do not interfere with standard phone features/functions such as SMS (Short Message Service). QP's test experience also includes testing against the BREW Test Validation Guidelines published from Qualcomm. QP's testing includes several test scenarios that the typical user would encounter. QP testing is performed on a variety of handsets, for example, the Sharp© TQCX1 and Kyocera© QCP3035 and covers a range of interoperability, error handling and compatibility testing to ensure that what a user will perform in a real world environment will function as expected.
QP's past experience includes compliance testing for FlexScript™ applications on Motorola©'s PageWriter™ 2000, PageWriter 2000XL, Timeport™ P935 and Accompli™ 009. Testing verifies that the applications function correctly and interact with the native applications properly. The tests also confirm that messaging applications send and receive messages correctly without adverse affects to the network. Tests include network and device compatibility, functionality, stress and error handling, and user interface. All tests executed by the QP team have also been designed and developed by the QP Mobile Wireless team.
QP's in-depth experience with J2ME™ includes test case design and implementation for testing of J2ME applications running on the Motorola© iDEN™ handsets for compliance. The tests verify that applications adhere to a consistent user interface and confirm that applications function as advertised and expected by the consumer. The tests also verify that network enabled applications respond correctly to various network events and varying coverage situations. Examples of tests include, stress, error handling, user interface, device compatibility, functionality, documentation and user interface.
The QP team has been testing the Palm© platform since 1995. QP has performed testing of over 600 Palm supported applications. QP has performed testing and project management for over 100 Palm projects since 1995 including full QA for:

designed, developed and implemented an internal QP Wireless Technology
Training Course, with a specific training program dedicated to the
Palm technology. The QP training program for the Palm platform continues

QP has been testing applications on the Windows CE™ platform since developers have been creating applications for the platform. QP's extensive experience testing on the Windows© platform, along with our mobile wireless experience allows us to offer highly skilled testing for platforms supporting the Windows CE and Pocket PC™ Operating System. QP's experience in testing the various Windows CE platforms, synching protocols, wireless protocols, networking, 3rd party applications, integration of applications and networks, IR, cellular device and carrier compatibility, is unsurpassed.
